Crowned by Experience

Crowned by Experience

This birthday doesn’t feel like getting older. It feels like standing taller.

This past year didn’t come wrapped in ease or comfort. It came with trials and tribulations that tested me personally, emotionally, and spiritually. I navigated heartbreak that reshaped me, the loss of friendships I once thought were permanent, and the exhaustion of defending myself against false narratives that were never mine to carry. Somewhere along the way, I realized that reclaiming my space meant no longer explaining myself to people committed to misunderstanding me.

I chose peace. I chose truth. I chose myself.

At the same time, this year became about reclaiming my health, not just physically, but mentally. I began speaking openly about what I was working through, the hard parts and the quiet victories. And something unexpected happened. The more honest I became, the more space opened up for others. Conversations turned into connection. Vulnerability turned into validation. Healing stopped feeling like a solo journey.

I started hearing my words echoed back to me. I watched other women relate, repeat them, and integrate them into their own mantras. I saw strength take root where shame once lived. That alone made every hard moment worth it.

And yes, I also watched people try to take credit for things they did not create. That experience could have hardened me. Instead, it clarified something important. When your work is rooted in truth and lived experience, it can’t be taken, only reflected back through others. Karma has a way of meeting people exactly where they stand, and I don’t need to chase what’s already on its way.

What matters more is this. Every experience, the good and the bad, brought me here.

Crowned by Experience isn’t about a single shirt or a single moment. It’s about acknowledging everything you’ve lived through and still choosing to stand tall. It’s about honoring the lessons, the losses, the growth, and the resilience that shaped you. It’s about knowing that you can hold gratitude and grief in the same hands and still rise.

This collection exists as a reminder. A reminder that you are not defined by what tried to break you. That your story deserves to be worn with pride. That survival itself is a form of becoming.

So no, this birthday isn’t about candles or numbers. It’s about honoring the woman I fought to become. And celebrating the strength it took to stay standing.

Crowned. Grounded. Still healing. Still rising.
